Amazing Spider-man #3 (1963) First Print comic book which was written by Stan Lee with cover and interior artwork by Steve Ditko. This is a pence priced variant edition that was printed in the US at the same time as the US edition in 1963, but for distribution in the UK. All of the interior including the advertisements are the same as the US edition.

This super key issue features the origin and first appearance of Doctor Octopus.

The comic is in solid condition with the cover firmly attached. There is a 1cm tear to the base of the spine and a tiny piece missing from the front cover there, edge wear to the front cover and spine, creasing to the top right front cover, minor blue ink marks near the spine, There are no cut outs, tears, creases, writing or coupons missing inside the comic. Stored in a mylar sleeve with full back board.

The cover has been examined with a black light torch and no signs of restoration or colour touch were found.

It will be shipped securely in an oversized box in the same manner that we use for CGC books.
