Avengers Comics were created for Marvel Comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1963 with an original team line-up of Thor, Iron Man, the Hulk, Ant-Man and the Wasp. Over the years, other key Marvel characters have joined and left the Avengers including Captain America, Spider-man, The Vision, Black Panther, Hercules and Black Widow. This category includes classic Silver Age comics and Bronze Age comics right through to the final issue (#402) of this cult series in  1996.
