Daredevil Comics (1964 Series)

Daredevil comics, created by Stan Lee and Bill Everett, were first published in 1964. Matt Murdock is blinded by radioactive chemicals as a youth and develops heightened senses to compensate. The Silver Age comics had Daredevil in a yellow costume until issue #7 when the red costume first appeared. Gene Colan pencilled the series through to the Bronze Age comics issue #100. The modern Daredevil was defined by Frank Miller, who introduced The Kingpin and Elektra, bringing back Bullseye to wreak horror.
