Dark Tower: The Gunslinger Born comics mini series was published by Marvel Comics in 2007 and featured the first chapter of a series based on Stephen King’s Dark Tower novels. There are seven issues in the mini series plus a guide issue, The Gunslinger’s Guidebook, which was released at the conclusion of this story arc. This is not an adaptation of the original Stephen King books, but a continuation of the original storyline known only to readers of the books through a flashback during a story that Roland Deschain tells to the rest of his travelling party during Wizard and Glass.
