Payment Options

We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Switch and Delta through the Paypal secure on-line payment service.

If you do not have a paypal account, you will need to use the paypal express checkout option, which allows you to place a one-off order without having to sign up for a full paypal account.

For UK, US or Canadian buyers, if your total is over £15, we will only accept payment from CONFIRMED paypal addresses. Please send payment in UK pounds sterling not local currency if you are outside the UK.

Cash can be posted in pounds sterling, euros or US dollars but you MUST send it using an insured postal service as we cannot take responsibility for loss or theft in the mail. Please contact us for currency conversion rates before sending euros or dollars.

UK customers can use bank transfers for totals over £10 and overseas. Non-UK customer can use bank transfers but there will be a £7 surcharge to cover the extra bank fees and transfers must be made in UK £ sterling. If you wish to arrange a bank transfer, please email us for details once you have placed your order.

UK Shipping

We ship Monday to Friday and normally process orders within 2 working days of receiving cleared payment. If you require an URGENT next day delivery in the UK, we will try to accommodate you but please telephone or email us at the time of ordering to ensure that your order is in stock and that you are in time as our post is collected only once each working day by Royal Mail.

UK delivery estimates, after order processing, are as follows:

Royal Mail 48 - 2 to 3 working days
Royal Mail 24 - 1 to 2 working days
Special Delivery - next working day*
Courier - 2 to 3 working days

* Please note that the Royal Mail does not guarantee to deliver Special Delivery items on a Saturday when they are posted on a Friday. We are not responsible for the performance of delivery services provided by the Royal Mail.

All shipments are securely packaged to protect the books in the mail and sent via an insured postal service. Smaller quantities are sent with stiff purpose made oversized corrugated cardboard mailers. Larger items, CGC comics or quantities of comics are sent boxed with bubble wrap or polystyrene chips for extra protection.

You can select different shipping options at the checkout phase. Please note that the Gift Vouchers ONLY shipping option is only for orders containing Gift Vouchers ONLY, as these are emailed, and cannot be combined with other physical items. Other comics, books or supplies etc. should be placed on a separate order.

For UK buyers, we recommend the following:

- High value items over £100 - select Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day which offers insurance of up to £500 and next working day delivery.
- Comic supplies - select UK Courier if you order more than 3 boxes and/or more than 1 set of comic boards.

Please note that our postage calculation system cannot cope with all of the different permutations so if you select a postal service which does not provide sufficient insurance cover for your order, we will have to invoice you for the balance as we cannot risk high value items being lost or damaged in the mail without sufficient insurance cover.

Overseas Shipping

Orders will be sent by Royal Mail Airmail Small Packets, or Tracked Airmail for orders over £15. The tracked service can be tracked at the Royal Mail web-site and the local country web-site e.g. USPS also recognise the references for US deliveries.

All orders to Italy must be sent EU Insured Airmail.

EU airmail delivery estimate - 5 to 10 working days

EU courier - 3 to 5 working days

Rest Of World airmail delivery estimate - 10 to 15 working days

Rest Of World courier - 5 to 7 working days

Please note that tracked airmail can get expensive for parcels weighing over 2kg, and therefore comic boxes or boards cannot be cost effectively shipped outside the UK. It is also limited to 5kg in weight (except Canada which is limited to just 2kg). For larger volumes, we use couriers but please contact us before buying so that you are aware of the costs in advance. We do NOT ship to PO Boxes or virtual addresses as paypal requires proof of delivery for payment protection.

We can use couriers for most European countries, the United States and Canada  if you are buying numbers of heavy items such as graphic novels, large numbers of Eaglemoss Figurines or comic storage supplies. Select the Heavy Package option, for the appropriate country when checking out. For other countries please contact us by email for a shipping quote. For Scottish, Channel, Balearic, Canary or other European islands please contact us for a shipping quote as these are NOT covered by the standard courier charges.

In the unlikely event that there is any problem with damage in shipment or a lost delivery please contact us at the above email address. If the packaging has been opened or damaged, please keep it and send a digital photo of the damage so that we can make an insurance claim. Refunds for loss or damage will be dependent on Royal Mail or the Courier processing a claim. We will do everything to help but cannot guarantee how quickly they will process a claim.

Courier Shipping Rates

The system will calculate a rate for courier shipping. Some couriers charge a significant extra premium to these prices if you are in a remote location so again email us to check if this may affect you. These rates do not apply to islands and couriers will NOT deliver to PO Box addresses.

Insurance cover up to £50 is included and we reserve the right to pass on the courier surcharge of 6% of the extra value for high value orders e.g. for an order of £150, the courier charges 6% x the extra £100 = £6 for insurance.
